Stop, Breathe, Give and Receive

When you feel like life is moving a mile a minute and you just can't keep up with it, have you ever heard that phrase? It is possible that it is time to press the pause button and remind yourself to take a moment to pause, breathe, give, and receive. Isn't that a straightforward statement? Let us dissect it in detail.

Stop: Take a Breather

First things first, pull yourself away from whatever you're doing and take a few deep breaths. Take a deep breath in, let it out, and all of the concerns and worry that are dragging you down should be released. There are times when all you need to do to reset and concentrate is take a few deep breaths.

Breathe: Inhale Positivity

After you have halted, it is time to take a deep breath and take in all of the positive energy and wonderful vibes that are all around you. It is important to take a minute to appreciate the little pleasures that life has to offer, such as the aroma of freshly cut flowers or the feeling of the sun on your skin. Exhale the negative things and take in the positive ones.

Give: Spread Kindness

It is time to share the compassion that you have experienced with other people once you have filled yourself with positivity. Giving back can make a huge difference in the world, whether it's doing something as simple as smiling at a stranger, complimenting a friend, or lending a helping hand to someone who is struggling. Additionally, it has a pretty darn decent feel to it.

Receive: Embrace Gratitude

Last but not least, make sure you don't forget to accept the love and kindness that is directed toward you. Practice appreciation for anything that is going well in your life, no matter how big or how tiny. You should make it a point to allow yourself to be surrounded by positive energy, whether it comes in the form of a hug from a loved one or a thoughtful act from a coworker.

Keep in mind that the next time you are experiencing feelings of being overwhelmed or stressed out, you should simply pause, breathe, give, and receive. It is a straightforward yet potent reminder to take things at a slower pace, to recognize the value of the present moment, and to spread a little love wherever you go. If you put your faith in us, your mind, body, and soul will be grateful to you.
